Contract Servicing involves loan
servicing functions for seller financed
transactions. Rent collections, lease collections, property management,
holdbacks, and other regular payment streams are also serviced.
The ideal candidate for this position may have experience in:
accounting
escrow (as assistant or closer)
loan servicing real estate sales
(as sales person or support person)
property management bank operations
mortgage lending
title insurance
This position is the primary support for the contract servicing
department. The duties of this position include daily tasks as well
as monthly and annual. This is a Front Office position
and will be asked to provide Front Office backup and overload support.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer Service
Main contact for customer service
Handling questions over the phone
Responding to e-mail inquiries
Responding to voicemail messages
Updating account information
Address changes
Disbursement information changes
Monthly developer and investor reporting
Operations Support
Setting up new accounts
Posting and controlling daily payments
Managing paid off/closing accounts
Training for vacation/sick backup
ACH transmissions
Year-end 1099/8 Tax Statement coordinating
Updating marketing tools
Assist at department tradeshows
Daily balancing of operations and trust accounts
